Hey SLC! What are you doing for Valentine's Day?
What better way to celebrate with someone you love than by throwing it back to the classic love songs of the 80s?! You know the ones: the passionate power ballads you Gen Xers and Millennials swayed back and forth to at all your high school dances. You don’t want to miss Casey Elliott’s legendary vocals and a rockin’ band of Salt Lake's finest musicians and singers as they reimagine your favorite songs from Bryan Adams, Chicago, Billy Joel, Richard Marx, Journey, and many others.
The show will be held in the historic Clubhouse building in downtown SLC and will be an up close, intimate concert experience that may even have a touch of high school prom nostalgia to it. While the show will be ticketed with assigned seating, you may feel the urge to jump up and dance -- and if you do, we'll definitely support you! Join Casey and his special guest, vocalist Ellie Barry, for an electric night of soul-stirring music, with a dash of romance and fun. This will be an unforgettable Valentine’s Day to remember for years to come.

CASEY ELLIOTT
A lot of great things were made in the eighties. Mr. Potato Head, Rocky IV, Cabbage Patch Kids, ET, epic rock ballads...and Casey. Casey’s love for music started in the 80s when his parents started an 80s cover band in Riverside, CA aptly called California. They performed across the state and were voted best cover band multiple years in a row. Little Casey would sit under his Dad’s piano during band practice and listen to his Mom and other singers belt out the classics of Chicago, Journey, Cyndi Lauper, Bryan Adams, and many others. He would even try to hide in the band truck so that he could attend gigs with his parents.
That early love for music has grown into a variety of musical pursuits, including musical theater, singing with multiple rock bands, and starting the tenor trio GENTRI. Musical theater credits have included touring as Radames in the national and international tours of Aida, playing Jean Valjean at Hale Centre Theatre, and a variety of other roles and productions. He has also established a name for himself as a film actor and can most recently be seen starring alongside his daughter in the GAC Christmas movie Destined At Christmas. Other favorite film credits include Retreat to Paradise, An Hour Behind, and Lamb of God: The Concert Film.
Casey continues to perform with GENTRI. The group has reached #1 on multiple Billboard charts, performed with such artists as Journey, OneRepublic, Kristin Chenoweth, and Idina Menzel, and achieved more than 300 million video views online. GENTRI’s Christmas concerts have become a favorite tradition for thousands of families every year.
Casey performs all over the world but calls Utah home. He has 4 children and will celebrate 19 years of marriage this year to his sweetheart, Zerelda. Other hobbies include: golf, mountain biking, skiing and pretending to know what he’s doing when attempting DIY projects at home.
ELLIE BARRY
A rising star in the Utah vocal scene, 17-year-old Ellie Barry swept the teen divisions of both of Utah's major singing competitions in 2022: Utah Vocal Sport and Sing Utah. She is a regular soloist with the world-renowned One Voice Children's Choir where her voice has been heard and celebrated by millions of people all over the world.
